Wooridul SpineMark International Enters Global Arena with Agreement to Open
Spine Center of Excellence in Barcelona

SAN DIEGO, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Wooridul SpineMark International (WSI), a
joint venture between SpineMark Corporation of San Diego, Calif. and Wooridul
Healthcare of Korea, signed a memorandum of understanding agreement to develop
a Spine Hospital and Center of Excellence in Barcelona, Spain.  The WSI
Barcelona Spine Center and Hospital, the first WSI project in Spain in their
developing international network of sites, will bring global spine care
best-practices to patients who suffer from spinal disorders. 

"This agreement marks a monumental time for Wooridul and SpineMark. This is
the first time that a Korean hospital is reaching a European market," explains
Dr. Sang-Ho Lee, Chairman of the Wooridul Hospital Group. "The WSI Barcelona
Spine Center and Hospital will offer patients the highest level of safety and
treatments." 

The WSI alliance, which was formed in June 2008, combines the technology and
clinical advancements of Wooridul, the leading hospital group in Korea, with
the specialized spine services and expertise of SpineMark Corporation, a US
leader in developing spine centers of excellence. The WSI Barcelona Spine
Center will be part of a 300-bed hospital that is currently in the process of
expansion
